Are you interested in a career in the seafood industry and would like to know how to get started? There are numerous courses that are available to provide the skills required however, if you are keen and looking for an immediate start email qsia@qsia.com.au and we will pass on your details to our members.
Once you have been continuously employed for a period of six months you can do an Elements of Shipboard Safety Certificate. This course is generally available through a registered training provider like a TAFE or private provider. There are training opportunities that will provide you with the whole range of qualifications through to Skipper and beyond.
